Please come join us for the Feast of Tabernacles at Lake Siskiyou, in northern California, near Mount Shasta.
This year we will be reading and studying in the Book of Revelation, and what it means for the end times. I will present on what little I think I might maybe know, and then we will have a collaborative learning experience, where we try to bring the scriptures from the Tanach (or the Old Testament) into the Revelation timeline. If you want, you might think of it like a big puzzle. We will try to solve this puzzle together, as a collaborative learning experience.
We will also open each morning with learning to sing some traditional Hebrew praise and worship songs. Then in the afternoon we will read and study together, either in Hebrew or English, depending on your skill level. You don’t need any experience to come join us, and those who have experience, please come ready to help those who are new to our Father’s language.
Lake Siskiyou is a beautiful and tranquil location. You can choose from cabins, tent sites, or you can bring your RV. We ask that you please go ahead and register directly with the campground, and then RSVP to us with an email,
servant@nazareneisrael.org, so we know to expect you.
We will prepare several joint meals together, like it was in the wilderness. “Kosher” food is not required per se, but all food does need to be in keeping with the “clean food laws” of Leviticus 11. Basically, please try to avoid pork, shellfish, shark, catfish, and gelatin. If you have a question about what might or might not be clean, please write to us,
servant@nazareneisrael.org. We do not require organic food, but please lean towards healthy, nutritious food, to honor the fact that our bodies presently serve as a temple for His Spirit.
There are many opportunities for worship and fellowship this fall festival season. At our gathering, we are praying for those who want to get together to read and study His word in humility and in modesty, in order to serve Him better. If you have any questions, please send us an email, and we hope to see you there.
